Sadhana

Let's make a change for the better! I am challenging YOU to a 40 day Sadhana (Sadhana = endeavoring to obtain a particular result) to connect deeper to your spirit through ritual. What does this mean??? It just means choosing one thing (anything) to do everyday to make a positive change in your life. 

Ideas for Sadhana include: waking up early to sit in silence, go to bed earlier, complete your unfinished tasks, eat a meal without other distractions, read something to enrich your life, de-clutter your life physically or emotionally, sing, be out in nature, connect with people in person, be creative,... the possibilities are endless but it has to be something realistic that you can do everyday. 

Why do we practice Sadhana? To follow through with our commitments, self discipline, get out of our own way and not make excuses, progress, connect within and be the best version of ourselves that we can be.

Last Thursday I made the commitment to sit with the pose Hanumanasana everyday. This is the pose that I have always had an aversion to and gives me the most charge. I will be posting/blogging about my experience and I invite YOU to join me on this journey.
